Where are we going?
The train rolls away from the station in Örnsköldsvik and I have almost 12 hours of travel, Örnsköldsvik-Stockholm-Gothenburg and finally arrive in Trollhättan. The goal is Bryggums Säteri, home to Anders Jonasson, a grain farmer who is passionate about Kulturspannmål. We both sit on the board of Allkorn, and this weekend there will be wonderful in-depth conversations about cultivation, grain, the members' thoughts and setting out the way forward for our older grains in Sweden.
While snow-white sleighs and snow-laden trees whizz past the train window, there is time to improve the website Eldsmark.se.
Trying to get a structure for what its purpose should be and who it is aimed at. We'll see how it goes.
All I know is that there will be a lot of information about the rye, spelt, Ardennes and other grains that I grow, such as Dala Lantvete, Svarthavre Gotland, Ångermanländsk winter wheat.
But also modern wheat like Helmi spring wheat, how it goes with harvesting, milling, sifting, packaging of flour and selling local flour to the local area.
We'll see whose side we end up on, but the first step is Trollhättan!

See you!
Lars
